4 Signs It's Time To Change Your Life

1. You're Perpetually Bitter

Not everybody is lucky enough to be jolly 24/7 every single day. We're only human and we have our good days and bad days. But if you're only having bad days for the most part, it should be an ominous sign that something's gone wrong. Nobody deserves to be unhappy or bitter all the time, ever.

Do you have a toxic friend in your life who's inevitably drowning you in his or her negative vibes? If your answer is yes, I suggest you stay far away from this person who's burdening you down.

If you're going through a rough patch in your life right now, try to keep a positive outlook and hope that things are going to get better.

2. You Can't Wait For Friday... Every Single Week

Don't get me wrong, I love Fridays and the weekends because, really, who doesn't! Most of us spend a great deal of time at work or in school, but that doesn't mean we have to be miserable.

If you are constantly dispirited because of what you're doing, it's a clear sign that you ought to slow things down a bit and make some changes in your life whether it be changing your job, following your heart, learning about the things that interest you, or going back to the hobby which you used to love so fervently.

To be brutally honest, I've never liked the idea of waking up at the crack of dawn and I never will. But at least I'm doing something that I enjoy so much so that I'm back to my happy self once I step foot into the office despite my dislike for the whole morning thing.

And even though I read economics in NUS, I cannot be more thankful for making the decision to write full-time instead of going into the financial sector "where the money is".

3. You're Broke

If you're living from paycheck to paycheck, it's high time you start watching your spending and work on setting some financial goals. First, here are 5 easy ways to get yourself into a money-saving mode if you aren't a saver yet.

Saving money doesn't have to be excruciating, really. All you need is some discipline and creativity to make it meaningful and fun for yourself.

4. Could Haves & Should Haves Are Clouding Your Head

"Be bold and courageous. When you look back on your life, you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the ones you did." - H. Jackson Brown, Jr

You tend to live in the past by lamenting all the things - big or small - that you could have done or should have done. While this may sound cruel, complaining incessantly doesn't help a single bit. Instead of living in the past, focus on the present and work hard to ensure that you'll never have to regret in the future for the things that you didn't do, but could have done.
